A group calling itself the “Santa Monica Coalition” has recently been in the news. Please note that this is NOT the “Santa Monica Coalition for a Livable City” but a totally different organization, using a name which is misleadingly close to ours.
Indeed, one news outlet quoted two individuals who have absolutely nothing to do with SMCLC, and incorrectly used “Santa Monica Coalition for a Livable City” and “Santa Monica Coalition” interchangeably.
Do not be misled.
The Santa Monica Coalition for a Livable City (SMCLC) will always use our full name or initials and include a link to our website (www.SMCLC.net) in our work. And unlike this group, we are transparent about our officers and board members.
